Whether you are a first responder or prepared citizen wanting a central or mobile command center or you simply need to automate your small business, the community version of Limelight XE is provided by Strasis Systems as a platform to build your centralized command and control center. It is fully functional and has most of the capabilities of the Enterprise commercial version of our software suite.  You can see the differences on our versions comparison page here.

The versitility in both the internal core functionality and the selection of available and ever growing number of drivers allows designing a C2, C3, C4 or full C4ISR system that you can manage.  The community version runs natively on Windows 11 (the commercial version will also run on Windows Server 2016 or higher). It can run on your hardware such as a personal computer or laptop (VPS cloud support on commercial version only).  One great advantage of the community version is that it can be air-gapped from the Internet and has no dependancies on the outside world if configured properly (e.g. map tiles are either pre-loaded or you have your own internal map tile server), however it can use external sources of information from the Internet for planning, preparation and disaster management.

Support is provided primarly via our new forum and the community or by entering a request on our support page.  There are many examples of how Limelight XE can be used to monitor and record IP cameras, supervise sensors, track aircraft, marine vessels as well as your own fleet of vehicles.  External databases can be integrated into the server to bring various types of information into the console for a cohesive realtime view and increased situational awareness - you decide how Limelight XE can help you.
